What's can I use off of a 79 on my 65?

I've got a 79 F-100 long bed that I am going to be parting out. Other than the disc brakes and master cylinder, what can I use on my slick? The 79 is a I6/3 on the tree.

Third member, steering column with modifications, engine , tranny, radiater, seat, wheels.

You can use the power steering system and the steering column. The seat will bolt into the 65 also. I would recommend the 300 engine also.

Well I'm not lucky enough to have one with power steering or brakes. So far all of the things listed I don't need. Figures don't it! The column is no better that the one in the 65 and I already have a rebuilt 302 waiting to go in.

How similar are the wiring harnesses? The one in the 65 is sketchy at best. Does anyone know if the fuel tank out of the 79 will fit the 65's frame?

My 302 is a 79 model. Will the bellhousing of the 3 speed bolt up? What about the 65's 3 speed?

My '64 has a lot of dentside (73-79) parts in it.
Engine,
steering column,
rear end,
Duraspark,
Horn relay,
Horn,
wiring harness,
starter switch,
windshield wiper delay switch,
windsheild wiper motor,
door light switches,
trans cross member,
brake proportioning valve,
power steering pump,
gas filler door

could have used the seat but didn't
could have used transmission but didn't,
Sent engine perches to another member who used them
sent exhaust manifolds to another member who used them
Gave the twin I beam set up to a friend who used it on his '67
Gave the brake booster /MC set up to a friend who used it on his '67
Gave the steering box to a friend who used it on his '67

Cant use the tanks that go between the frame because in 73 they widened the frame behind the Cab. ie the tank will be to wide.
