Good luck on shipping.. Unless you live on the island shipping gonna be fun (aka expensive). Unless you try to drive it back.

dont get me wrong... a chevy 350 is a darn good motor...
but putting it in a Ford truck, is like having sex with your mom...
the equipment might fit...
but it doesnt change what you are.

Why do builders go threw so much trouble and expense to build a nice custom truck and then put some plain jane belly button engine in it?
I just don't understand.
Only step side trucks I like are Effies. No offense to you step side slick owners.

see guys i know its a sin to put the Chevy in it.. but its still one helluva cool truck. I always go for the trucks that are just a little different. Though i love slicks im just a total car/ Truck enthusiast.. i see a slick next to a 64 Chevy.. of course i got to the slick first, but i love everything from Mopar, to a nash metro, to slicks. I just am a car guy

I like the flames and the stacks!! I am not so much the purist but I don't understand. If you are going to put a 350 in it why not just drop in the 351?? To me, to put the chevy engine in it would be because you have it and need an engine... but then I wouldn't have the $'s to put a paint job on it if I didn't have the money to keep the ford driveline.
QUESTION?????? Isn't it more expensive to drop a chevy motor into our slicks than it is to drop the V-8 fords down in them??? With having to modify and fabricate???
I like the paint colors....... different

Agreed...my biggest pet peeve when I go to shows. Especially when someone forks out all the dough restoring, let's say, a '32 Model A. It breaks my heart to see another brand of power plant...Especially when the engine is but a small fraction of the resto cost. But this is just my opinion.
As for the truck...leave the stepside stacks for the Lil' Red Express - The paint is pretty nice.
