Floating an idea

Post by Johnny Canuck »

All right this has been rolling around in my brain now for a while. Since the NW chapter can't seem to round up a GTG of any sort, and very few members meet there in groups larger than 2 at a time, i want to see if there's any interest in an
A) Alberta only chapter
B) Praire chapter maybe Ab Sk Mt ND or something of the sort
where the people are actually close enough to meet somewhere once in a while

I think it is easier to get together as a smaller geographical area. Too much traveling takes away from the important tasks of fixin' the truck. Although I would also like to get together with the greater area, it gets costly, like fixin' the slick.

I am actually quite surprised "d" isn't up to about 10 votes by now, since this doesn't apply to but 4 states and provinces in the "Wild, Wild West"Chapter

ONly 2 votes for an Alberta Chapter. Doubt if that is gonna fly toward creating one, with Matt and Kid. They have at least 3 in the Iowa chapter! 8)

I'm for a central Alberta chapter. Seems there's been a few more members who've joined up from Alberta. Maybe it'd work to try again.
