JC, last I knew they were still sorting a couple minor bugs out of things here, photos, etc. Soon Grasshopper, soon.

Sorry, fellas
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you guys. I work for a University, and for the past week, I have been relocating servers. We physically moved over 80 servers from one side of the campus to the other. I figure the last week I put in a good 90 hours.
Here is where we stand, as I see it. Right now, there is one major bug that needs to be squashed before we "go public". That is the photo album. Right now the photo album works just fine and dandy - as long as you don't try to upload a jpg image. That is a pretty big problem considering that probably 95% of the images people will upload will be .jpg files. I hope to have that all ironed out within the next couple of days.
Other than that, everything should be working. There are some other features that i want to add, but I can do that whenever. This photo album stuff requires rebooting the server and such - so it is probably best to hold off on sending the others over here till that is fixed. I would prefer not to be rebooting the server while people are using the site.
I will try and get this done in the next couple of days - worst case scenario I will get it worked out over the weekend. Then we should be good to go.
I'll keep everyone posted...

I suggest you kick this site off officially either DURING Slickstock or just after.
Also the redirect to slick60's.org should be in place and maybe if we can get some links to Fordification's tech articles it would be cool.
Just a couple opinions from the weeds here.. it is truly a shame to have such a superior site here and watch the tumbleweeds blow thru it...

Yep you are so right. The faster that dang MSN site is in the garbage pail the better IMO. Already moved my pics in here, because I couldn't get them all in one album on the MSN site, and there was no room for new albums.
Gonna keep the NW chapter as an MSN site for now, 'cause we have no one as good as Jim here to operate the thing, but with under a hundred members it is managable. This has great potential, and for those who want to se what i see when i mean potential, check this out

...same type of Forum. Imagine not having to answer a newbie 3 times a month who wants power steering on his straight axle!
What a dream
