New member---las Vegas

Post by brandon66f100 »

Hey everyone, I have been a member of the forum for a couple months now,I just got my slick this morning, so I figured its time to introduce myself. My name is Brandon I live in las vegas. My initial intention was to rebuild a 66 that my mom was the original owner of, but that truck would need EVERYTHING. So I saw this 65 on craigslist and went to check it out. The owner had it for the past 8 years and has kept it very clean, he got married 2 weeks ago and he decided to sell it since he hasn't done anything with it. He said it has a 390 in it, manual tranny, power brakes and power steering. I havnt had a chance to get any numbers off the engine or tranny yet.I picked it up for 1800 and the way I figured I could have easily dropped 1800 in the 66 and still not be able to enjoy driving it .I will be posting pics and I'm sure I will have a lot of questions. Thanks for the answers in advance :)
