My 66 Project

Post by 66Bullitt »

hello guys, just "googled" you guys and have been lurking around reading on all the informative posts and decided to finally put some pictures and let yall see the 66 that i just purchased.

I bought the truck last Friday (10-8-10) after i decided that i was going to put the drive-train out of my 2001 Bullitt that i totaled on 9-25-2010.

but here she is no rust in places these trucks would have, bed is in tact only damage it has would be the front bumper is bent.

and the Bullitt before i totaled it and after...

Wow, looks like you are all set to go..with plenty of parts to work with...

back when I was in high school ...my best friend had a 67 fastback painted black..when they started the custom plates we went straight down and got the BULLIT tag for it...

welcome.gif to the show! Nice to have you on board! That Slick looks to be in great shape. Here's a place that you can get that front bumper back into good shape and re-chromed - Best Bumper Supply Inc., 415 North I-45 in Hutchins, just south of Dallas http://www.bestbumper.com/

Shame about the Stang,
making it continue on through the Slick is cool though.
So you going to try to stub the Slick frame or build one for the Pony suspension?

Welcome from TN! Being a stang lover these pics kinda break my heart a little but I love the idea of it finding a new home in a slick instead of a scrap yard! Couldn't start over in a better place. Look forward to seeing the progress and outcome.
