I was to, I was going to just put in a dummy filler neck.. but, my friend had been itching to fill it in since he saw it and I really like the smooth look.

Got the seat Dyed black today...
Image

seat is out of an 89 GMC fab'd up some brackets and fits like a glove.
nice classic look too. plus it has holes for seat belts when that time
comes.

Plan on replacing the cloth with leather or vinyl/ pleather whatever.
at some point.. covers are available from LMC that look nice. But,
think i'll find a local stitch shop to make something a little more custom.

That seat looks awesome, did you dye it yourself?

Yes, I used Dupli Color Vinyl and Fabric Dye
find it at most automotive stores.. got mine at
advanced auto for 6 bucks a can.. used 5.

I took some time to brush the fabric with a paint brush to keep the
fibers loose and get the best coverage.

I was skeptical at first, but did a lot of research and found that it doesnt rub off or wear off... so far I am very pleased with the outcome.

Thanks for sharing! I'll have to keep checking back, I love to watch people with better skills than me work magic.

The guys fixed the Rot on the Core Support. Anyone need a Core Support?? I have a good shape one sitting ready to go. Easier to fix the original than replace it.

Great minds think alike! Its a great color.. light enough to not be dark.. dark enough to not be light.. not too blue.. just a good color.
