I LOVED that car!!! I always thought the scoops on the hood made it look sinister.

You are dead on -
the scoop "sort of" doesn't fit style wise but looks tough as hell on it.
It's like a 50s custom that was rebuilt again in the 70s. Sometimes mixing eras/styles works.
