uni tailgate handle

does any body know what is the correct factory finish is for these? I'm thinking something like zinc or galvanized but I'm unsure. advise me all you uni experts out there......thanks...Dave

Mine have all had a silver gray appearance, as if galvanized, they all eventually rust hence the painted ones

Mine were painted the body color. I have seen them chromed handles but they are not my cup of tea.

Hard to tell from looking at my trucks. One is painted (truck was repainted by PO) the one's on other truck are rusted. Personal opinion: I think they look better painted.
