okay guys i have problems with my brakes they where working great for a couple of days. what i hade was a 85 elcamino brake booster. with a 77 ford highboy master c. well that worked great untill the other day it got hard as a rock. so i check my vacum pump workin great. so i bought a 67 chevy brake bosster with master c. its was cheap and its still not workin its rock hard any ideas????? thanks eben

rubber brake lines collapsing??? just a guess Eban..

With all the Swapping you have done...Have you done a COMPLETE SYSTEM BLEEDING....?

Start at Passenger rear and Bleed at least 1/2 qt of Fluid...Then go Drivers Rear, then Pass. Front then Driver Front...
When you are doing the Passenger Rear Bleed, you should bleed till you get GOOD CLEAN CLEAR Fluid....

Also, You might crack the lines at the Purportioning Valve.. And gravity bleed that a bit before doing full system bleed...

Is your 59 a Standard Cab...?
