GLASS ATTACHMENT

Whats the best way to atach to door glass to the roller bar on the bottom. It came loose and I thought about using urathane glue.

Dixon. There is a special tape that you can get from an auto glass shop.
Urethane glue won't hold the glass.

Back in my bodyshop days, we called it channel pack (tape), it comes in various widths & thicknesses.....urethane will actually work, but should you break a window at some later date, you will probably spend more time trying to remove the remnants of glass & get the remaining urethane off than it would take you to earn the money for a new channel:):)

**tape is not adhesive, you fold it over the bottom edge of glass, set channel over tape, stand glass up on a nice clean 2x4, and knock channel down onto glass with a rubber mallet or dead blow hammer....tape needs to be thick enough to create an interference fit, as that is what holds the glass into the channel.....

Thanls for the help. I work at a ford dealer so ill go to the bodyshop to se what they got.
