That would pretty much complete my Slick collection...but I was under the impression that such a vehicle (4X4 Uni) wasn't built/offered by Ford.

Ford must have made some, I have seen two. One short box cruising Saskatoon, and another derelict in a wrecker yard. I can see why they are rare, my 2WD`s both had problems opening or closing the doors when one corner was jacked up changing a tire, I can imagine how they would stand up to 4WD abuse. One of mine cracked the cab top loose from the beltline. How Henry thought he could mount the cab end on rubber and the box end solid is a mystery to me.

So, you're saying that a "real" 4X4 will have an extra cross member? Or a "fake" will have an extra cross member?

BTW: Since Chris (Ezer) threw down this out for discussion, don't you think it's up to him to check it out and verify: Glove box tag VIN matching frame VIN, etc. etc. etc.
Personally, I'm hoping it's for real. Would be very cool.

What do you think?

It would be easy to swap the glove box door with the frame.

True, but the claim of a Ford F250 Factory 4x4 Unibody is one that has yet to be proved.

I doubt there is such a thing.....but there might just be.....
