so fordtruk.com disappeared when the upgrade happened along with it the fine articles and info.
a member pm me about making their own headlight relay harness and where do you think i found the article which used to be here?
http://www.ford-trucks.com/article/idx/ ... ights.html
i absolutely was not happy linking to that ( censored words appear here) site and really wish the fordtruk.com page would return.
please bring it back.
i do not want to go to that other place to see things that used to be here.
thank you

Re: unhappy iceman rant
Bill,
I can not speak for others, but there appears to me to be too much drama on fte,and the site itself is a real pain to navigate, unless one wants to pay for lack of adds and becoming a top super special grand puma or something. At times people here can get a bit wound up over some things, over there it seems to have become a sport.
I still will go there from time to time there are some people I like to check in on ( the first time I read you was over there).
Those who have always belonged here feel like there efforts are sort of proprietary.
John

Re: unhappy iceman rant
i was booted out of fte many years ago for linking to slick 60s in my posts.
i would not go back if they sent me a gold plated invitation and paid for me to have an ad free version.
p.s.
thanks again to the slick 60s member who long ago sent me the FTE BITES bumper sticker

Have we found a fix for this yet?
I would really like to have access to those again.
I think we also need to add the three point seatbelt thread as an article.
Please let us know.

Re: unhappy iceman rant
I left FTE almost 2 years ago because it became too filthy, in spite of their policies against foul language.
I want my Jennifer to enjoy Slicks, but the language was deteriorating, but I got no response when I pointed it out.
We are much more family friendly here. Not perfect, but I really do appreciate the efforts to keep it family and children friendly.
Every now and then, someone on FTE will ask me to answer a question over there, usually an electrical one, or something about bolt-on modifications, so I will post to help someone out, but under a different name. And only when asked.
I much prefer the Slick family here.
