Speedway tour

Post by Kid »

Talked to the guy who gave us the tour today and it just might be possible to have a Speedway tour and track cruise for the next SS. Have to wait to see what their schedule is for 2014 and if they do not have anything planned for the SS weekend it looks like we will be there.

Here are a few pics I took at the track, we should have some MUCH better ones later.

Lined up waiting for the tour guide.

Parked in front of the grandstands, going in to tour ALL of the premium facilities.

Looking down from the ramps as we toured the upper areas of the seating and private boxes.

I can't wait to see the ones Carl took. He said he is going to burn them on some CD's for us, If there are not enough for all the guys who were there I will make copies. The pics on the hill at your Moms house Lance are going to be great. Can we put them in a photobucket account or someplace like that so everyone can see all of them.

Did I mention we had a fricking blast, atleast I did,LOL.

If they had not been using the track yesterday when we were there we could have taken a couple laps around it ourselves. I talked to the tour guide and he said if the weekend of SS is open we can do it. I am thinking on Friday of SS we take a tour out to Newton and see the speedway and take a trip around the track if possible

Kenny would be the hands down winner if we were all on the track racing.
He "KNOWS" how to set it up to go left and has the chassis to "GET R DONE".
It would be a hoot to get to do that! TR
