I wonder if my doctors ( yes, I have nine ,one for general health screening he is a PA for the VA. one for my dental concerns he also is VA, one for my cardiac concerns , one for my electro cardiac – pace maker ICD - and a fifth MD who is my private Dr whom I trust and another private cardiac Dr group that over see my pace maker and general cardiac conditions ... so that makes .. plus my foot Dr and Eye Doctor .. that makes 9 Drs. to over see my health... I wonder what the odds are of one of them accidently causing my death ? according to the stats , I am 81,000 times more likely to die from a Dr than a bullet , that is of course assuming that the Drs don’t try to shoot me .

(a) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000
(b) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000
(c) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171

Now think about this:
(a) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000 (Yes, that's 80 million)
(b) Accidental gun deaths per year for all age groups is 1,500
(c) Accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.0000188

So, statistically, doctors are over 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.
Remember: 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.'

FACT: Not everyone has a gun, but almost everyone has at least one doctor.

This means you are over 9,000 times more likely to be killed by a doctor as by a gun owner.

We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand
