The FEMA gasifier from the Reagan era? You could run an engine on it for a week or so before everything ends up messed up from the tar that'd come from it. I was going to run with an Imbert-style downdraft gassifier wroth a monorator-style hopper.

Then again, I'm still trying to get the brakes working on my truck while you're staying to build the thing.

I've heard bad things about the FEMA gasifier, so be careful with that design.

Sproino, one trick Kid and I learned about moving trucks with a bad fuel system is to hang a riding lawnmower tank..SECURELY under the hood o move it around before you get the real problem fixed.. might keep you out of trouble with THE LAW ! ;)
