Great Job! That Grill Looks Fantastic. Interesting To See A Set Of Those Tie Rod Blocks Installed, I Always Wondered How Those Would Look. Will You Be Doing The Alignment Yourself?

No we don't have any alignment equipment. I'll have to find someone to do it. As much as it will get driven I might just "Set the toe and let it go".

After Putting The Reverse-Eye Mono's On My Truck I Had The King-Pins & Alignment Done And What A Difference! It Was Definitely Money Well Spent. Seems Like Not To Many People Work On The Straight Axle Stuff Anymore (Only One Guy Here In Topeka)

I'll show my age here but, I used to do alignments on these all the times when I worked as a tech in the early Eighty's"s. Bent many a straight axle and I beam to correct alignment. I'll probably find someone around here that can do it. :cussing:

Slammed!!!! 4 1/2" front 5" rear. Work on the carb this weekend. Hopefully the hood and tailgate will be back from the painter this weekend too. Then off to get a tonneau cover and an alignment.

Looking good !!!

I was wondering if anyone knows whether the Hood Spears are suppose to be just Chrome or Painted? I've seen it both ways and was wondering what was stock. Thank you :D

Thank you guys. Coming from two of the Slick 60's "Elders" That is a huge compliment. I am honored.
Can't wait until the weather clears up a little to be able to take it for a spin. got it running great. Was idling like crap. took off the carb and found two air bleeds plugged. Bingo!
