2) Under Bumper Exit 1
3) Under Bumper Exit 2

Sorry. Hit the wrong button.
Pick 2 in the poll.

Now you did it!
My preferences, in order:
BIIIG stovepipe in lower front fenderwell, 'cause, well, just cause!!!
A copy of Mike's "centered license plate" design 'cause it just looks great!
Side exit just in front of rear bumper, 'cause it can sound so good with the long pipes!
Lakes pipes; hell, I don't even know why!
Out the rear below bumper with turndowns, same reason as #2 above.
"Frenched" into rear bumper or roll pan, same reasons, but like Mike's design, a real pain to maintain, IMO
Bellflowers!, LOL

Ruby is #2 with ss tips, very unobtrusive.
My second choice would be in front of the rear wheels.

Re: What exhaust exit style to go with??
I like exit 2 and in front of the wheels. I tow a trailer and these 2 options keep the exhaust out of my face when Im hooking up by myself. The exit 2 is the one I run on my 98 F150.

Re: What exhaust exit style to go with??
I am torn between 1 and 4.
I like the idea of 1, but I would have to rework the coil-over brace and have minimal clearance over the axle at max squat.
Number 4 I would have to run it in between the 4-bar links and I am not too keen on that ether.
Hmmmm....

Re: What exhaust exit style to go with??
In front of the rear wheels only works if both pipes exit the same side. Otherwise, I've always felt it sounded...wrong. You only hear half the engine.
Frenched are nice, but that's a lot of work.

Max
Go to the uni build and check out how we ran the exhaust outside the frame rail. When its done that way it eleminates going over the axle inside the frame. There is more room there than one would think.

Re: What exhaust exit style to go with??
That worked well for yours because your Link brackets are bellow the Axle and your coil-overs are inside.oldtrucks wrote:Max

My Brackets are a bit higher and coil-overs on the outside. So I just have the Brace and pan-hard bar to deal with.
I will have room. I looked at it this morning and I will have to do a little dishing/flattening on the PS just over the axle, but no big deal.
I am going to go with Option 1 ... Go big, or go home.
