Thanks Allan, by door trims you mean the Aluminium surrounds and door inserts? I have a set already if that's what you mean!

Looks bloomin' marvelous Leeroy, definitely a colour combo out of left field after the blue n white rocket ship.
Is that a Prinz oven that it was done in ?
glasurit/spies used on it ? base coat clear coat or just solid.
after all day in the left seat, any close calls on the way home in mexico ,after you've parked the orange bellied bird.

I'll ask him what oven it is when I pick it up.... Screens went in today, so this week apparently :D Its BC/CC.
I haven't seen it out of the shed yet, so can't wait to see it in the sunlight. Its a darker red than usual cause I hate reds that turn 'orange' in different lights. Too late if I've picked the wrong colour!

No close calls this week mate, but give me a minute. I'm doing all night Darwin flights at the minute.... arrrrgh. Cant you people please just fly in business hours, PLEASE????

Alright, you got the idea from the last few pics..... But anyway.....

A few things need tweaking, a bit of confusion about the colour of the indicator panel, ended up the wrong colour so will need to be redone! :argue:
The bed also needs some 'persuasion' it sits on the factory holes but it at least 1/2-1" too far to the drivers side.

Bolting the bed on!

That's it until I do something.

Leeroy,
Just LOOVVE those rims, very "slick" if I do say so.
What a cracka !!!
Try a neoprene block , drill out the centre as a spacer on the henry's chassis to lift it , the error in manufacturer has plenty.
With Al's high vis hat and my bright shirt, and shinny head, we'll wave as you scream over the top of the creek's dragstrip.

Little bit of progress today.... Got all the glass in, used all new Bailey channels, anti rattlers and diversion bars from flashbacks. Not in a hurry to do it again but it's done and the parts were all top notch from toms. Didn't get around to the door seals but it's next on the list. Also had the tyres fitted whilst I was waiting for the quarter vent Windows to dry.

Sorry about he bad angle, forgot to get pics until I'd already put it away.

Very nice build.
How did you go about forming the door window felts? I tried one once and it was no easy thing,
and came out looking buggered to hell.

How did you go about forming the door window felts?
I used the actual glass before I reinstalled it. So as a starting point, I roughly aligned the rubber plugs on the glass felt where they fit into the door at the top (there is some chrome overlap toward the vent window) then where it turns in a downward direction, I slipped it over the glass and voila! It's not totally perfect but quite similar to what came out.

That's exactly how I did my second one :( , the first one is why I worked out this is a better way to do it

Thanks, got a better angle today whilst fitting both bumpers.

I used LMC rear bumpers and brackets. The one closest to the cab fit fine but the top bolt WILL NOT go in no matter how much I raise the bed :(
Going to have to drill another hole which is annoying in that thick bracket!

Front bumper (original type) went on well but does need some shimming to fit straight.
