Where'd you find the truck? Some old guys yard? Craigslist? Friend of a friend etc?

Is it starting yet? I see no battery in your engine shot. The front driver fender got bashed in too it appears.

From Sunny Florida If that 8 track player still works but it on ebay and get you some truck $$ or go to the flea market and find some tapes, that wood be cool for sure, dont forget a book of matches to make it track right

I do not know how I missed this the first go around, but I am glad I found it. It is nice to have youngsters interested in our style of trucks who will have the energy to work on them. hopefully you will have the passion and determination to stick to it.

Pulled the motor and trans. Painted the trans this to keep from rusting. More likely will be black!

What exactly are your plans for this truck? I am also 17 with a 64 stepside with amazing patina! I did a crownvic frame rail swap and now a healthy 302 and c4 tranny. 8.8 rearend and starting to drive the sh#t outta it! insurance really is not expensive mine is $70 a month.
