Lance, down here we call it "noodling" and its pretty much for brave (or drunk) men. I do know a couple of chicks that do it, but, well, we won't go into that now.
My buddy Gerry Smith caught a 50 pound blue cat a couple of months ago.
Personally, like the guy in the picture is going to find out, I think its cheaper to just buy my fish.
