clutch rod

will a clutch rod from a 67-72 f100 work on my 65?

evidently lmc dont make one for my truck

Just in case you wanted to do an upgrade. Here is what I did on my 67.

looks like a previously broken rod

you know if and when that end breaks off it makes a really loud noise as the rest of the linkage springs back and the throwout bearing slams the disc back against the flywheel. then you put your trans in 2, start in gear and go clutchless.hopefully your lucky and are not in a city.

man thats pretty sweet if this bushings dont last long i may do that upgrade.. but i figure my truck wont get 5,000 miles on it in 20 years when its done lol

do bear in mind that not all of the rods are the same length, 65-66 2wd are the same, other years and 4x4s are different
