If, you have a good solid bed with no rust out, please do not cut it up for your project. Plenty of beds out there with floor problems and others would kill to have a good bed to work with. I have one bed someone started doing the tub thing with then quit the project, would make a nice bed for what you are doing. Anyway welcome to the club. Please let me know if you are going to destroy a perfect bed and where your located. Maybe we can do some horse trading. Rich

Awesome. Glad to see another laying one out. Great work so far. I will be paying very close attention to this one. Sounds like our plans are very similar.

i read through your build atleast a dozen times, i have a complete cv front end i already had bolted up to mine, but it held the rest of the frame up 2 inches, i thought of a way to z it i would just have to make new cab mount, but the track width has me skepticle on going with it

Decided im going to go with the dakota ifs instead of the mustang ii

got a little bit done today, finished welding up the frame and got my bag brackets from Haggard fab

Image

got the frame flipped over to get most of the welding done, forklift comes in handy..

cab needs some work, passenger side is pretty bad, drivers side is no where near as bad

Build is sick, glad to see someone else going with the 5.3. Watching this one closely, hopefully I can start tearing into mine shortly. Definitely getting motivated with all the bagged builds going on, just have too many projects lol.
