The Twins

Post by rooster91 »

Alright lets start off with how i ended up with 2 red 1965 short bed with 240s and 4 speed. so about 8 years or so ago my grandpas truck went to reno nv to be restored by my cousin (who is actually how i got turned onto this site) he did a amazing job built a killer truck. so i decided i would take his left over parts and build me a truck so about 2 years ago i went to reno from ks swaped him a 460 for the 240 and picked up some of his left over parts. then a year later we find this other truck in reno almost a carbon copy of what our grandpas truck was orignally so for $500 we pulled the trigger on it and it set at his buddys tow yard in reno for a year. but im glad to say today it arrived at my house. so i have one truck that is totally together and one that is completly apart. i have no clue how i am going to build either one i think for now the goal is to get both of them together and running. pics will come just as soon as i figure out how to post them

been a busy two weeks. rebuilt the autolite 1101 that was on the truck forgot and didnt get any pictures unfortunately. got all brake lights and such working. this weekend the spare bed will come off and will post some pics with out the spare bed and decide where this project is going. and maybe set the other truck cab and bed on the frame. and see what direction the truck that runs is going to go
