1961-1964 FORD F100 BRAKE PEDAL KIT

Post by TurnAroundTrucks »

Does anyone in the group have any experience with the Industrial Chassis 61-64 Ford F100 Brake Pedal Kit? I am getting ready to do a front disc brake conversion on a Sid's lowered front axle and a power brake booster add-on to my 64 Slick and was looking at this as part of the process? Thoughts and experiences are welcomed?

Seems like a lot of money just to move the brake pedal over a little ways. Although this might be and advantage I some ways, I'm wondering about clearance for the gas peddle and I can see a lot cheaper ways of doing this. It's not that hard to modify a brake pedal. Unless there's something I'm not seeing, looks to me like a lot of money for little gain when you can modify you peddle and achieve the same thing without having to move the master cylinder over to accomidate the peddle.
