Suicide crewcab

Any idea what year this beauty is? A friend said 58-60, but couldn't tell for sure without seeing the front.

I love the suicide doors and the angled antennae. I assume it had an open box and not a trunk, but the angle of the C pillar makes me wonder?

He thought it was made only in Brazil - what a shame.

I am pretty sure that was a concept truck built as a one off during the
the design phase of the Fridge trucks. I have a whole bunch of those pics
that I intend to post on here. Lots of unusual ideas that could have made
some very cool trucks. TR

Its like a 1950's version of a Ford Explorer Sport Trac. :) My favorite vehicle Ive ever owned.. but sold... :oops:

There was a Sport Trac in our parking lot this morning and I thought the exact same thing.

I found all those pictures a couple of years ago on a website
somewhere but who knows from where. Shame Ford did not make
those trucks for sale here. We'd have a blast finding and fixing
them up to our liking. TR
