Repairing a floormat

Post by 1964WVFORD »

I picked up a nos floormat for my slick today but looks like a mouse wanted to take a bite out of it first. Is there a way I can repair this if I can find a section off another mat (if I can locate one) and cut this bad piece out and attach the piece from an old mat back in its place?

You might be able to use linoleum seam sealer to fuse a patch. You could also go to a plastics supplier and get the 'real' glue. You know the stuff that was banned since some people decided it was better to breath for a high than to put anything together.
