I picked up a big input 68 NP435. I have the clutch disk taken care of. Q: Will there be any issues bolting up the shorter pickup shifter housing in place of the taller housing from the F-600? If so I would like to have everything I need before the swap.

as long as the shifter engages the gears
pretty sure you need the shifter that goes with the shorter tower
