Sometimes I feel like I would be better off with a bird's brain, or at least a Crow's anyway.

There are three crow that regularly walk along my neighborhood, they always look like they are working together with a plan. I have also seen them find a bird nest.. One go up and throw the babies down to the others, then they fly away with them.

They claim one crow can tell another if a person is friend or foe. So that the first time the new crow is around you it has already formed a opinion of how wary it should be.

So what's the reason a group of crows is called a Murder? They can communicate and conspire?

When I saw those crows raiding bird nests and murdering other birds... It seems like an accurate description !

And I have been told If you cut the tongue of a crow some of them can mimic and even talk like parrots...

I was at a zoo in Tampa Fl. and there was bird not sure what kind , but it had learned to fish ..... with bait. We watched as it would fly around and find a piece of bread or animal cracker , then take it down to the edge of the water and break it up , and as the small minnows came to eat the bread the bird would pick them off until the bread was gone , and leave and return with more bait.
