I am pretty sure at least 2 years, the same cab style was used on big trucks, 3 or 4 is very likely...

I know this was discussed in the past, but I don't recall what the final answer was anymore.

Here is a 1970 F500 in Australia. Notice the upside down lightning bolt with the box cast into the top/front.

Hmmmmmmm. I want to know more about the 66 BEHIND it! The thread is 4 years old unfortunately

1969 on the big trucks replaced by the Louisville truck for the 1970 model year.

The slick cab was used on the F and T-800 and larger trucks and lasted to 69 and as said above replaced by the L and LT models. The N and NT series 500 and up lasted until 69 as well and was replaced by the LN and LNT series. The bigger trucks retained the step well in the cab and never got the sloping floor as did the pick ups. So if you have a larger truck and need parts for it always order parts for a 64 model. When I built my 67 NT-950D I ordered a lot of 64 Ford pick up parts. The 66 models and later all had the raised roof so the headliners wont fit, No one is reproducing headliners for the raised roof models. Lucky I found a good headliner from a friend with a raised roof parts truck. Also the doors on the N series trucks has the front bottom corner cut off of them, but you can modify a pick up door to fit them. The door rubber for the big trucks is the same as the pick up. Even the retaining pins in the rubber all line up and fit in the holes perfectly.

It looks like a pretty solid old truck but 25 thou is a bit high for it. I paid 2500 for my N and even after a total restoration I still have a lot less than he is asking for that truck.

Chris, I clicked the link and see the truck was listed as a F500, that would be wrong, the truck is a T 850 or 950. If the truck were a 500 it would have the slick grill in it, plus it is a tandem and you could not get a tandem in a 500. It is a 68 or 69 model given it has the side marker lights in the front fender and raised roof. Tandems only came in 850's and 950's. Someone totally miss labeled that one.

That's a lot of good information. I didn't pay enough attention to the second truck's axles, too distracted by the new to me hood emblem.
