I wanted to reuse the crown vic body mount pads but the f100 mounts holes are to small.
Ended up getting a 10-45 mm step drill bit. Then drilled them to fit the crown vic rubber pads.
The truck is dropped 5 inches from stock with it setting on the mounts and pads. Picked up the steel today for mounting the bed. I also ordered the mufflers today it's the only modification I'm doing on the crown vic drive train. I'm trying to come in under $4000 for the complete build. So far I'm in $2600. I spent  $45000 to build the Chevelle and there was no way I was spending that kind of money again my wife said so.

Started putting the bed down today. Seeing exactly what needed cut. The plan is to make a frame on top of the bed floor, then cover it with sheet metal. A Custom bed cover to hide the bed. I'm going to use some of the f100 frame to make mounts for the front of the bed.

On the original hood the mount location it completely rotted out. Found a good hood braces on this hood at a junk yard. Got the a hood, seat, trim and a few other small pieces for $75 bucks.

Ran into a couple problems lowering the bed down. I currently have the bottom of the cab mouldings at 36 inches from the ground. To keep the bed braces it can only be 38 inches from the ground. I had to remove bed braces. Now the front of the bed will lower almost to the ground. The back is getting hung up on the rear horns of the frame. 37 inches to the ground after cutting. I will need to cut the tops of the rear most part of the frame off about half way to get clearance.

I've pretty much finished the truck but I'm waiting on the interior. I'll try to upload a few finished pics.
