Question about Driveshaft diameter

So I'm going to replace the center support for the drive shaft on my '65 F250. In my search of parts, I've found two parts that fit, one for a 1.378" or 1.5478" diameter, is there a rule of thumb to determine which one is applicable to my truck? This is me being lazy and crawling underneath the truck with a micrometer.
