300 Six Cylinder Timing Indicator

The engine block is a 1973. Not sure of the year of the crankshaft 3 groove pulley, but the water pump and 3 groove water pump pulley is from a 1983 engine. Engine builder set timing at #1 TDC and marked the crank pulley with an orange marker aligned with the mark cast into the cam gear cover on the drivers side of the engine. The crank pulley is notched, however, and the notch is on the opposite side of the engine. In the photo below, I am pointing to where a bolt on timing indicator would be. Does anyone know the part number for this bolt on timing indicator and a source? Thanks, Bradshaw

That would be pretty easy to make out of sheet brass or steel.

64 litl un, I had thought about it, but hoped to find one.

Blackwater forge, that appears to be the piece I'm looking for.

Although, I can't get in my mind what angle your photo was taken for the water pump to be oriented that way?

Engine is laying under the barn shed.
Engine is a 300 from a 66 F250.
Cam broke and punched hole in block.
Timing indicator is from a mid 70's engine.
The earlier engines used the marks on the cover that are opposite where the indicator is located.
If you can use indicator pm me your address and I will mail it to you.
