'64 resurrected, opinions wanted
The plan is to make a pro-street 90's era hot rod (probably just look outdated to most guys) but I happen to like the style. Straight six is temporary until i get a V8 built. Any ideas or opinions for making it look more 90's? I was about 4 or 5 when the pro-street thing was popular, street rods and posters were everywhere with gray tweed interiors and the pastel stripe on the side but the look seems to have died out completely now. Any suggestions or opinions for the build?

I can't help you on pics like you want, but I enjoyed looking at your truck. I have that same truck in a 1964 S/B and of course it's been cut and spliced everywhere. Mines a daily driver going on 34 years now. Needs paint again, but if I repaint again it will be the same factory Blue in a base coat with Satin clear covering it all up. I'm getting too old to be waxing anything.
That's going to make a nice truck, I'll keep watching.
Wish I knew how to post pics.......

Rear roll pans instead of rear bumpers. Fiberglass front clip with the big rounded off blower hood scoop. Wheels like the red truck. About the wildest look I did was the steel saw blade rims and sun roof.

Roll pan is on my list. Is there a specific name for those wheels like on the red truck? Also what's your take on hood pins...too vintage or suitable?

Re: '64 resurrected, opinions wanted
Welcome!
Solid colours (mostly bright reds and yellows) were more popular in the late 90's and early 2000's as I recall, with the Easter egg pastel look being earlier. I probably still have some old street rod mags from the time. I will say from my recollection the vast majority of magazine trucks were Chevy, and the Fords that were featured were typically the fat-fender trucks more often than not. I'd say this truck that Day 2 posted sums up the pro-street or 90's street rod look at it's pinnacle, before people started to rail against the high-dollar builds and the style fell out of fashion.
Shaved door handles
Low stance with wide tires but likely not anything larger than a 16" wheel
Mustang II suspensions were under everything, so hub-to-hub distances were narrow and wheels with deep backspacing still tucked in the fenders
Body-coloured bumpers or roll pan on the front, and for some reason people liked to paint the core support body colour as well
Grey tweed interiors with billet gauge panels and white-face gauges, billet accessories throughout (window cranks, door pulls, knobs, etc.)
Polished aluminum, braided hoses, and anodized fittings under the hood
Hood pins were mainly on musclecars from what I remember, although they would be appropriate on a fiberglass hood or tilt front end
The wheels pictured would be a Centerline style, but just about any billet wheel was popular.
