Here is another one brought in

Post by 6166 Junkyard Dog »

here we cleared another section out for a container,, Too bad driver did not know how to spread the gravel so we had to do it by hand :(

http://slick60s.com/gallery/image.php?a ... e_id=12705

and here we had to buy a New One since the used ones they had where a little rough or ones not rough up at the top where the seal is showing rust, little more money but well worth it,, this one was MFG 01/2018 and new ones are considered used one way to get to the USA

another note if looking at containers look and see where the rear door handles for the reason some of the handles are almost at the bottom or high,, this one is at a decent height, like the in between height

one bad note  , while I was hooking up the chain to the tree to hold in place, my left knee messed up and now I am on crutches, spent 5 hours in the emergency room, then another hour in therapist and still on crutches, I was able to get it on the ground and will get a pic of that when I can walk again,, Kathy had to get under the container to set the last R/R Tie up so once I can get the rollback out then can take the final pic

PAT Some are low as 1700 to 2200 but the grade is fair which fair is been patched and not to maybe keep rodent outs :?: ,, Then better ones 2500 to 2700,, Our first one was 2700 which was very good with good seals and tight doors seals solid floors,, then the new ones 3500 and extra height are 4000 in the 20' series.. Extra heights you can drive in easier with a fork lift than the regular height ones. They charge for delivery but we picked up our selves also not much room to work with.. It sounds at times like a lot of money to me but then looked at sheds and if a bad storm comes by it can do some damage and then your left with a pile and it's contents destroyed.. Now also Pat as you get closer to the Big Ports price goes down but then hauling one of these on our rollback is Ok but if its windy then your rocking

Pat out by your place you have a lot of Room,, dig a hole and install for a tough shelter with generator place to maybe live for few days if it gets real bad maybe 2 so you can store couple of slicks so might need 40' I also have seen some that are 10' ones

I have paid as low as $700 here, but seems when I need one, they are in the 2 grand range, with the high cube 40 and 53 footers bringing even more. Dellivery expense, even here locally, is the big cost for the long ones, with the high cubes potentially requiring a lowboy.
