In 2018 , i planned a little trip
Along with Colleen Weller in the 63 Slick
We hooked to the Camper , and put trust in the 223
And plan to meet some friends , in a town Called Kansas City

Well , We fired up the engine , and hope it keeps a running
There's not as many miles , as there was an while ago
We'll hold the pedal down & hope it keeps a runnin
On down the Road, to the To the SLICKSTOCK Show

Yeah, it will run Down the blacktop
( hup 1-5-3-6-2-4)
And run down the dirt road
(Hup 1-5-3-6-2-4 )
And will run down some places
(Hup 1-5-3)
That even GPS doesn't even know
(Hup 6-2-4 )
It will run so fast
(Hup 1-5-3 )
That a tractor couldn't catch it
(One 6-2-4)
On to Kansas City to the SLICKSTOCK show

Update on the pulling of trailer

It got it there !!

Rolled about 47mph ( that is a good cruising speed with 5:18 rear)
Up hill it got slower ... had to drop to 3rd a couple times
That little 223 did what it could
Ran in the rain 4/5 of the time
Surprisingly was the fuel mileage
13+ mpg of course , not much wind resistance !
The trailer is up in Iowa now
Hibernating until SS 9
