why we do log inns and passwords

Post by Kid »

I got slammed the other day because a member could not log in and forgot his password. We do this not just to be a pain like this member thinks but to keep spammers and trash out of our site. If we just let everyone join who wanted to like we used to do we would be overrun with spammers and all kinds of crap we dont want. I do my best to keep this site free of all that stuff and think we do a pretty good job.

My fat fingers screw up my login more often than not...
But I defiantly understand why it is there and that this place would sink in spam and such trash without it.

Thanks for all you do to keep this place going, I'd miss my family right quick if this place were to go away.
Thank you

I can't think of any site that you don't have to log into to participate. I don't understand why he would think that way. I agree, I couldn't imagine having this site going away. It's a rare day that I'm not on here. Keep up the good work Darrell.

I got punted once on my phone. It then asked me the secret answer to the location of a slickstock to which I must have been answering incorrectly as I have never been to one. I do appreciate the site especially the Sunday night chat so I too vote to keep the site clean. Maybe we just need a better secret answer system otherwise I have to give Dean an earful lol.
