I believe you're right, the plates on my longbed are definately longer than those advertised. Pbly for shortbed although I'm not familiar enough to know if these are slick era or not. Shortbox for sure. Same box 57-72. I have heard that 53-56 is the same from some people and different from others. I do not know the differences other than the tailgate.
