long bed flareside

What are the options for replacing a long bed flareside? Has anyone bought a short bed kit with an extra side to cut and extend it? I have steps and fenders in excellent condition, just need the rest of it.

here is the listing BEFORE THE FENDER BOLT HOLES are drilled.. 1953 to 1972 but remember as years change so does the bolt hole location,, my long bed was done on a brake and at the top you can see where a pipe was added to give it a roll and way back then a lot of flare side beds where done like that,, for the tubs some people do make tubs to work in there

Longbeds have higher sides and are wider than the shortbeds. Not that you couldn't stretch a short bed but it won't be the same as a longbed.

we have access for the Long Beds for < ALL USA MADE > Will be NEW Front Bed Panel, Tailgate, Cross members, Long Bed Chains, Wood, Bed Strips,, Now on the Tailgate if want that different look instead of the same/same 53/79 trucks, Then 48-52 F-2 gate or the 80/87 Flareside Gate,, the 80/87 has bigger letters,, 48-52 will have to change the chain location at top to work it in,, Bed sides can be made but will need to have that pipe at top like I said before if you get the right person and work on your wheel tubs
