Help with old part numbers

Post by mongrot »

Ford lists the oem drag link part number for my '61 F100 2wd as C1TZ-3304-M, which doesn't cross to any aftermarket manufacturer. I did happen to find another one for my truck listed as Ford # C1TT-3304-M which crosses to a Moog DS658. Would it be the correct part and just an updated Ford number or a different part altogether? Why the T instead of Z?

C1TT-3304-m is listed in my (64-72) ford parts book as fitting a 64 F100/250 4x2 with manual steering. Ford lists this for 4x2, however Rockauto.com lists this for a 61 4x4. I would sat that my ford book is correct in listing as 4x2. The length is 14 3/8". Rock auto price is $61.79 plus ship U.S..

Perfect, thank you. If your book lists the C1TT as fitting a 2wd, that clears up the confusion I had. Thought maybe it was 4wd only since it was a different oem # but is obviously just an updated/alternate # as I had suspected.
