50 years of collecting stuff... next 50 getting rid of it

Post by slick4x4 »

I'm a hoarder of stuff
But the last week Ive been doing some cleaning
I have several buildings to do....
In one building I keep a lot of Slick parts...
But it was so cluttered I couldn't find stuff
For example ..old brake shoes ....
Tossed about 40 of them out
Ive hualed off about 40 tires
Took some iron to the scrapyard
Sold a v4 Wisconsin engine ...
Now I have a place to park a vehicle & my riding mower
Started on a second building & its looking better
Have a total of 5 , I want to clean up .....
And thin out the iron pile
Ive been waiting for the price of scrap to go up
But it seems like its staying put......
I'm dedicating one area for vehicle engines ....
Have about 10 of them sitting
I told ya I was a hoarder
.

Not near as bad, but mine includes household goods and tools, both garden and working, like steel wood ect. when the house is done i will be thinning the herd as well. right now still collecting fire damage for the dumps.

It does not matter what you think, it only matters what you do about it!

Pat you would have a field day here with parts collected in containers, garage, cabs of trucks, beds house etc.. and now we just brought in 5 truck loads of 1980 to 91 NOS Part, Repo Parts made 15 years ago and some used Parts and same for the 1978 to 96 Broncos ++ still have few parts left from 1948-79 trucks < that's was 7 loads > from 1 dealer, another was 61-66 only from a private person < 4 loads > + the rollback on that one as well, So Pat I guess I am also a hoarder now as well, one thing Kathy does not say anything but still trying to figure out how far can I go :)
