The place to talk Slicks. All we ask is that discussion has something to do with slicks...

Pics from Pigeon Forge F100 show

Post by JeffinMooresville »

Hi all,

Just got back from the F100 show in Pigeon Forge. My truck isnt quite ready yet, so we were just spectators.

Show is a LOT bigger than the show last year in seiverville (right down the street). It was at the leconte center and the ajoining parking lot.

Most of the trucks and stuff was outside, but they also had the conference center as well.

Good mix of the 50,s trucks, slicks and 70’s as well. A lot more slicks this year it seemed. As you will in the pics mostly pure show trucks, but some blue collar trucks in the mix.

Great Pictures,,, TOO BAD THIS IS NOT THE SAME SHOW As last year in Seieverville, Tn totally 2 different people and the other person that runs that other show ONLY Cares about $$$$ MONEY $$$$ not truck/vendors etc.. just wait till Fall on that show when whatever vendors do show up and find out they have to inside and too put up with all those rules will be a whole lot less Lot of nice trucks ++ lot of used parts , some good clean parts and a lot of rusted out ones, some well overpriced trucks

That slammed wrong-bed was recently in the Spring 2019 F-100 magazine. The guy lives in Easly, South Carolina. It is a sharp truck!

It's so hard to explain, But when you see these trucks in person for the first time it grabs your breath, But then go back a few more times to see more things you missed the first time, I know I walked by several times a lot of them and saw something different each time

Thanks for the pics Jeff. Vending and being stuck inside all day didn't let me look at the trucks. But after sundown, and walking the sidewalks of Pigeon Forge's main drag, I saw quite a few. Enough to quench my taste for them anyway. Also met some SUPER nicer Truckers. The Grand Nationals had the makings of one of the best shows we've attended in 15-16 years....

Can you imagine that most of the Slicks I DID see were at Resturants....LOL. Well we DO have to eat.

I DID see enough to make me buy several items I'll need to revamp my 64 S/B anyway. I'm not going for perfection because it IS and always will be a driver. Just looking to make some unique changes, and neaten it up some.
