Disposing of a junk December 1968 2wd F-100 cab (cab/doors only) on a butchered/unusable June 1967 2wd F-350 frame. The cab was an automatic, will that pedal work in a Slick? I am robing the Dana 70 with anti-sway bar and two speed wipers. Will the 8 lug Twin I-Beam drum brake suspension be any use for a Slick 1 ton swap? What else?

Cutting Up A 67 And 68, Salvageable Parts For A Slick?
Re: Cutting Up A 67 And 68, Salvageable Parts For A Slick?
If the cab floor and mounts are solid you could probably use pieces/panels to repair 65-66 twin I-beam cabs. Also maybe post on the Fordification site.

Cab mounts look similar. After the axle is off I'll measure them to be sure. Good idea but I am already on four forums. Hard to keep up with them.04sd wrote:If the cab floor and mounts are solid you could probably use pieces/panels to repair 65-66 twin I-beam cabs. Also maybe post on the Fordification site.

All '53-66 2WD F350's were straight front axle with leafs, and came with 6 x 7.5" BC wheels.....so that TIB 8 bolt front end isn't much use to anyone with a slick 1 ton.......

If I didn't have such a disdain for 3/4 tons with bud wheels I would swap them to the F-250.chris401 wrote:Forgot about that.jamesdfo wrote:All '53-66 2WD F350's were straight front axle with leafs, and came with 6 x 7.5" BC wheels.....so that TIB 8 bolt front end isn't much use to anyone with a slick 1 ton.......
