New Truck

Post by ThinLizzy13 »

Well I sold my ‘87 F150 and then traded in my econobox Kia and picked up a new Ranger. I’m a little leery of all the electronics in it, probably because I’ve been driving beaters and old Fords for the last ten years, but I love it. It’s nice to own something new for once.
It’s a 2019 Ranger XLT 4x4 and I sprung for the locking rear diff. If it ever lets me down at least the ‘ol 63 will get me to where I need to be

Congrats !
I know the modern stuff can be scary
And pricey to get worked on
But if maintained... the mileage these new
trucks get
is pretty darn impressive !

I am quite impressed. I live in the Catskill mountains. My drive to work is an hour, half Catskills half highway, and I’m averaging about 22-23. And the power this little four banger has is very unexpected!

Mpg is good...

But I was referring to how many miles they can go
Ive seen trucks less than 10 years old
With 225k miles on them & they run perfect

I saw one today. White as well.

Weird I’ve only seen white rangers and white Jeep trucks that are brand new.

I’m afraid to look at new trucks. I owe 1000$ on my 2013. Couldn’t fathom a new car payment.

Enjoy the new truck!!!
The months may change, but I am always APRIL
