Of all the Slicks Ive had (about 30) Ive never seen a vacuum gauge in one

Pat I think the bigger trucks had a Vacum Gauge and Tach or some Tach and Air Pressure Gauge in those bigger holes,, We had one truck come in with a gauge that was seen on the 61/64 trucks or F-350 and up where the dash bracket that mounts the column to bottom of dash a Vacum Gauge there

Ive had several bigger trucks with tachometer
And also pressure gauges
Ive just never seen a vacuum in one
They probably weren't common at all

Never had an interest till I started making monthly 1200 mile round trips. The Stewart Warners of that era are going for $40-75. I will hold out for a Ford if I can find them in that range. Look for a post in Parts Wanted.

I could be wrong here but I recall other threads on other sites in regards to the vacuum gauge. I believe Stewart Warner was the manufacturer of the gauge for Ford. Michelle has one in her N series truck
