Looking for 223 six engine bolt torque specs

I have a 64 F100 that needs a timing chain (noticed it was really stretched out when I pulled the cover to change the front seal), anyway, I'm wondering if anyone would be able to tell me the torque specs of the sprocket bolt, timing cover bolts and balancer bolt..... Also I've read that the timing marks do not line up like a small block, they both face upwards when the gears are installed correctly, is that right?

My shop manual says 6-9 ft lbs for timing cover bolts and 70-90 ft lbs for the damper. I don't see any torque specs for the camshaft sprocket.

Heres a shot of the manual showing lining up the timing marks...

MONGROT: Looking through my 1964 Ford/Mercury 100-350 shop manual, there is a separate section for each engine (144,223,262, & 292) BUT, after all the subsections for each of the engines, there is a Section with Specifications, towards the end of that section, there is a Table with Torque Limits.....**and at the bottom of this table, there is a little block that is labeled Torque Limits for Various Size Bolts, with: Caution: In case any of the limits below disagree with those above, the above limits prevail.

Here are the torque values you seek: *These are from the Torque Limits Table, not the small generic table below it....

Camshaft Sprocket or Gear to Camshaft bolt, (All Engines): 35-45 Ft. Lbs.

Cylinder Front Cover (223 & 262): 6-9 Ft. Lbs.

Damper or Pulley to Crankshaft (223 & 292): 70-90 Ft. Lbs.

There is a section on determining if your timing chain is within wear limits, and also on aligning timing marks, but I'm done typing. If you want to PM me an email address, I can take a couple shots with my phone and email them to you....

Great news. Got the new chain installed and the 223 runs excellent. Looking at this video, you'll see just how loose it was...

With today’s internet , it’s usually possible to find
Out information with enough searching

Years ago , before computer stuff….

If I pulled something apart , and thought torque might be important
I would use a torque wrench to break it loose
(The kind that doesn’t “click” , but has a dial)
It probably isn’t perfect…. But will get you in the neighborhood
