I didn't title it as a CHEAP slick.... Just a 25 mpg slick...

If he was asking closer to 2k I would have been showing picture of my new DD.
Three of my DD's. Have died in three months. A timing belt, third for our Rodeo. A single failed injerctor burnt the rings out on one cylinder of our Hombre. And a failed Metronics tranny controler in the Freestyle.

The wife and I are contemplating a more vintage set of DD's. Vehicles with carbs and distributors....
Which is how I ran across the slick...

Anyone have a late 70's jeep CJ5 frame in the back of the shop?

That’s pretty cool. There was a guy on the inter webs somewhere that took a Diesel engine out of a ford 6000 tractor and put it in his slick. I guess it’s the same block as the 223. I always thought that’d be a cool conversion.
