door seals
Is there a class for installing these door seals? ive tried a couple of times and just dont get it. Mike
where did you get them from??
The ONLY place to get them is DC. (Dennis Carpenter)
He amkes them from the original Ford tooling. The other guys stuff is cheeper but is crap.
Some guys get them to work but are not happy with them.

I haven't done mine, but I watched a good how-to on the cable DIY network for some on a T-Bird that are basically the same.
You have to have the surface totally clean!
Use only the correct adhesive, best of which is probably 3M.
Follow the adhesive directions exactly, which usually means applying to both the strip and the door and allowing it to 'set' and get tacky before installing.
And yes, DC rubber is the only brand to use. It is sold by Carolina Classics and Flashback F100s in addition to DC. I think LMC sells the cheap crap.
