Update
I haven’t been able to log in for awhile
And was pleasantly surprised to see the new format
Anyway
Got a pacemaker 2 weeks before Christmas
Been going to exercise rehab 3 times a week
I still get pretty winded after doing light work
(Like raking leaves or similar)
Work 5 minutes & rest 5 minutes
But I can still do stuff
Just takes 2-3 times as long
The wheat looks really good
But this will probably be my last year
At least being the main guy …
If my boys want to take over
I will be the helper
Nice weather
Mowed the grass first time this year yesterday
Got a year & a half to get ready for SlickStock …
Good thing , as I work slow !

Started a new hobby
1:32 slot cars
Built a 8’x12’ table
Down in the basement
My nephew helped me …
It’s almost complete , but not quite
When finished , I’ll post another pic
Image
The cars have a lot of detail
About 5” long

So glad to hear from you! Glad things are going good with you. I like your new hobby, especially the Talladega. I used to build 1/24 scale static models in my parent's basement, and still miss it. Don't really have a good place to do it now, plus I really don't need another pastime. Looking forward to more of the racetrack.

Moon in front of the sun yesterday
Worked in the little garden some
Few more weeks & can plant some tomatoes

Hey Pat it's good to hear you're feeling better. I'm guessing the farming is going to be a little more difficult this year, you might need to use my break system. I start out in the morning working 45 minutes and take 15 minutes of break, of course by the end of the day I' m working 15 minutes and taking a 45 minute break. lol Waiting to see your track.

Man what a beautiful day !
Going to haul off a load of scrap iron today…
Been cleaning up around farm
This is the 3rd load in old tonner
Getting about 1.5 tons in it
Just barely enough weight to get a fair ride
Doesn’t squat it a bit
About $120 for #3 metal , so get a check for $180
Probably one more load that’s easy to get …
Also put some smaller items on internet auction
Hopefully get a $1000 from all of it
Spent 50 accumulating stuff…
Now spend years getting rid
Still going to keep some “cool” projects
At least I think they are ….
Anybody need a 1960 military electric chainsaw ?
Or a wooden keg of nails from 1930 ?
