Truck advertized as having 15,000 miles.

Believe that? Then I have some lakefront property in Iowa to sell you

JC: My brother lives in Iowa and says that right now there is a bunch of lakefront property he can get for a real good price. Better hurry though, the shoreline is receading rather quickly. Two weeks ago the shoreline was at his back deck.

this has nothing to do with the ad or the op, but is it just me or did ford skim lots of these trucks with a layer of bondo on the front fenders? my 64 had the same knocked out patch on the right front like that truck. i could find no evidence of any damage-the metal underneath was smooth as a babys bottom, just a nice thin coat of body filler on the front fender. just wondering...

Ezer. the 2 straight fenders I had with factory paint on them , when sandblasted, had NO bondo in them.
Methinks someone (your PO) had a fender bender.

??? To be fair, the feedback number (8) is the number of transactions the seller has received feedback on, it's not a grade. Only one neutral (?) feedback and the others are all positive. BTW: In the past buyers were hesitant to give a seller a negative rating as the seller could turn around and give them a negative in retaliation. That policy has now been changed to avoid this situation.

I understand that Grits, what I was saying is I have never seen that low of a feedback before, and you know what else? the first item I ever tried to buy from someone on E bay came from a slicks MSN member with 99% and I paid and never recieved the product, so it took me 30 days to file a claim and get my money back, well at the same time three others were filing negative feedback on that person at the same time, but that cant happen anymore due to the new policy

so what I used to do, is look at all the feedback comments to see how others felt about the products they buy, is that even possible now? or are buyers just screwed? to be fair it should be the same for both parties, right?. I dont buy a billion on there. only a couple hundred in a few years LOL

No No

No, no Shawn. I guess I didn't explain it very well. In the past if a buyer, for example (you) were unhappy with me the seller/product/etc you could post negative feedback for the seller to let other potential buyers know. You can still do this and should if the problem wasn't resolved by the seller. In the past (if I were a jerk seller) I could turn right around and post negative feedback on you (for no reason other than that you posted negative feedback on me because I didn't perform). Most people just didn't post negative feedback cause they didn't want to have their reputation as a buyer besmirched...which allowed the jerk sellers of the e-bay world to continue screwing others or providing poor service and products.

oh ok I see what your saying. fortunately I havent had that happen to me, the one problem I saw was the scammers that would go out and boycot someone, just because, they would somehow find a way to leave feedback on other peoples sales feedback and the seller would have to retaliate by returning the favor. I guess there are some bad sellers and buyers everywhere.

I dont like that policy, I just recently sold a ranchero on ebay and the buyer never responded to pay or finish transaction, I have no way of leaving negative feedback, so he still has good rating. I did file non paying bidder. I contacted the other bidder and he said he would buy it at same price. Said he was coming 3 weekends ago, still havent seen him. I think im done selling on ebay, will still buy parts I cant find though.

Yeah, that's a bummer. I've always been a buyer not a seller so haven't run into that. Surely there's some way e-bay can denote "negative feedback" as a result of the "non paying bidder" complaint? I'm not sure you could post feedback on a buyer before if the buyer hadn't left feedback for the seller.
Actually you'll probably get better response (and hopefully buyers) on this or similar sites.
